Privacy and cookies

This page explains which personal data the website athleticyogamethod.com collects, why, for how long, and what rights you have. It is written pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Italian Personal Data Protection Code (Codice in materia di protezione dei dati personali).
Who processes your data

Email: given in the Contact section of the site
She is the data controller: she decides how and why the data collected through this site are used.
What data we collect
When you visit the site. As with any website, the device and browser you use to connect automatically send some technical data: IP address, type of browser and device, pages requested, date and time. These are needed to display the pages and to protect the site from abuse and attacks.
Visit statistics. To understand how many people visit the site and how quickly it loads, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies, does not follow you across other sites and provides aggregated data only: for example the number of visits, the pages viewed, the country and the type of device. We also count, again without cookies, how many times the contact and booking buttons are used: it is simply an overall number for each button, not linked to you, your IP address or your device.
When you write to us or call us. If you contact us using the buttons on the site, by email or by phone, we process the data you give us: name, email address, phone number and whatever you choose to tell us in your message, for example the sport you play or the club you represent. We ask you not to send us health data that are not necessary: if they are needed to build your programme, we will discuss them with you directly.
Why we use them and on what basis
- To reply to your requests and, if you wish, to prepare a proposal or a programme: the legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures or of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To run the site and protect it, and to understand, in aggregate form, how it is used: the legal basis is the legitimate interest of the data controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- To comply with legal obligations, for example tax and accounting obligations if you become a client (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell them and we do not use them for automated decision-making or profiling.
How long we keep them
- Contact requests that do not lead to a client relationship: up to 24 months from the last contact, after which we delete them.
- Client data: for the duration of the relationship and then for the period required by law for tax documents, normally 10 years.
- Technical browsing data: for the short period set by the provider that hosts the site.
Who else sees them
The data are processed by the data controller and by those who assist her in her work, who are bound by confidentiality. Some external services process them on her behalf, as data processors:
- Cloudflare, which hosts the site, protects it and provides the visit statistics;
- Google (Google Workspace), for email and, when you book a call, for the calendar and video calls with Google Meet;
- whoever technically manages the site on behalf of the data controller.
Cloudflare and Google may also process data outside the European Union, in particular in the United States. Such transfers are covered by the safeguards provided for by the GDPR: participation in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
We do not disclose your data to anyone else, except where the law requires it.
Cookies and browser storage
This site does not use profiling cookies or third-party cookies, which is why it does not ask you for any consent when you arrive. The fonts are hosted on our own server: when you open the site you do not contact the servers of Google or of other font providers.
If you choose the light or dark theme with the button at the top, the browser remembers your choice in a small local storage area on your device (under the entry “aym-theme”). It contains no personal data, is not sent to anyone, and you can delete it at any time from your browser settings. In the same way, the browser remembers the language of the site you have chosen (under the entry “aym-lingua”): this too contains no personal data and is not sent to anyone.
Links to other sites
The site contains links to Instagram profiles, ours and those of some athletes. When you open them you leave our site: the processing of data is governed by the privacy notice of Instagram (Meta).
Your rights
At any time you can ask to access your data, correct them, delete them, restrict their use, receive them in a readable format so you can take them elsewhere, and object to their processing based on legitimate interest. To do so, simply write to the email address given above: we will reply within one month.
If you believe that your data are not being processed properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali), on the website garanteprivacy.it.
