Athletics and the body
Every event, one precise movement
Sprints, middle distance, jumps, throws: every athletics event repeats one precise, often explosive, technical movement, with very different loads on hips, ankles, back and shoulders. The quality of that movement depends on mobility, control and the ability to recover between sessions.
The practice is built around your event, your body and the point in the season, in agreement with your coach.
What we work on
A practice built around the event
- Hip and ankle mobilityFor a more effective drive, more stable footing and fewer injuries.
- Back and shouldersMobility and control for jumps and throws, where the trunk rotates and extends.
- Core stabilityTo transfer force precisely into the technical movement through the deep muscles.
- RecoveryRestorative and deep-release practices to support recovery in heavy training periods and between competitions.
- Concentration before the eventBreath and attention to arrive clear-headed at the start, the jump or the throw.
The three pillars
Breath, body, mind
Breath
Breath control to manage arousal before the event and support recovery after effort.
Body
Mobility, alignment and myofascial work for more efficient movement with less compensation.
Mind
Meditation and visualisation for concentration and for managing competition stress.

How we work
Built into your preparation
The programme is built around the athlete and coordinated with their strength and conditioning coaches, in line with the season's goals. Sessions take place at your home or your club's facility, one-to-one or in small groups of up to four people.
We recommend practising consistently for at least three months to feel the benefits.

The programme
From assessment to results
Initial assessment
An individual assessment and a plan agreed with the athlete or the coaching staff.
